The Service is a Chrome browser extension that runs entirely within your browser. We are designed with a privacy-first approach — we do not operate backend servers that store your personal data.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about the data we never collect, access, or store:
- Login credentials: We never ask for, access, or store your Instagram or Threads username or password.
- Following/follower lists: Your follower and following data is processed entirely within your browser and is never sent to any external server.
- Profile information: We do not collect, transmit, or store profile pictures, bios, full names, or any other personal profile data.
- Browsing history: We do not track or record your browsing activity.
- Analytics/tracking: We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or cookies for advertising.
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The Service stores minimal data in your browser's local storage (Chrome Storage API) to function properly:

This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Payment Processing
Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment processor. When you purchase a Pro subscription:
- Payment information (credit card, email) is collected and processed directly by the payment processor, not by us.
- We do not have access to your full credit card number or other payment details.
- The payment processor may store your information according to their own privacy policy.
4.2 License Validation
When validating a Pro license key, the extension communicates with the payment processor's API. Only the following data is transmitted:
- The license key value
- A randomly generated device instance ID (not personally identifiable)
No personal information, account data, or browsing data is transmitted during this process.
4.3 Instagram and Threads APIs
The Service interacts with Instagram's and Threads' APIs directly from your browser using your existing browser session. These requests:
- Are made from your browser to Instagram/Threads servers, not through our servers.
- Use your existing browser session cookies (we do not access or store these cookies externally).
- Are subject to Instagram's and Threads' respective privacy policies.
5. Data Processing Location
All data processing related to scanning and following management occurs entirely within your browser on your local device. No follower/following data is transmitted to, processed by, or stored on any external server controlled by us.
6. Data Retention
- Local data: Retained in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear browser data.
- Payment data: Retained by the payment processor according to their data retention policies.
- Our servers: We do not operate data storage servers, so there is no server-side data retention.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: All locally stored data can be viewed through Chrome's developer tools (chrome.storage).
- Deletion: Uninstalling the extension immediately removes all locally stored data. You can also clear extension data through Chrome settings.
- Portability: Since data is stored locally in standard formats, you can access it through Chrome's extension APIs.
- Subscription management: You can cancel your Pro subscription or deactivate your license at any time through the extension or the payment processor's customer portal.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We implement the following security measures:
- No external server communication for user data (eliminating server-side breach risk).
- All sensitive operations run locally in your browser's sandboxed extension environment.
- License validation uses HTTPS encryption.
- The extension requests only the minimum browser permissions necessary to function.

4. 제3자 서비스
4.1 결제 처리
유료 구독은 결제 처리 업체를 통해 처리됩니다. Pro 구독 구매 시:
- 결제 정보(신용카드, 이메일)는 결제 처리 업체가 직접 수집 및 처리하며, 서비스 운영자가 수집하지 않습니다.
- 전체 신용카드 번호나 기타 결제 세부 정보에 접근하지 않습니다.
- 결제 처리 업체는 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 이용자의 정보를 저장할 수 있습니다.
4.2 라이선스 검증
Pro 라이선스 키 검증 시, 확장프로그램은 결제 처리 업체의 API와 통신합니다. 전송되는 데이터는 다음뿐입니다:
- 라이선스 키 값
- 무작위 생성된 기기 인스턴스 ID (개인 식별 불가)
이 과정에서 개인정보, 계정 데이터 또는 검색 데이터는 전송되지 않습니다.
4.3 Instagram 및 Threads API
서비스는 이용자의 기존 브라우저 세션을 통해 이용자의 브라우저에서 직접 Instagram 및 Threads API와 통신합니다. 이러한 요청은:
- 서비스 서버를 거치지 않고, 이용자의 브라우저에서 Instagram/Threads 서버로 직접 전송됩니다.
- 이용자의 기존 브라우저 세션 쿠키를 사용합니다 (이 쿠키를 외부에서 접근하거나 저장하지 않습니다).
- Instagram 및 Threads의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.
5. 데이터 처리 위치
스캔 및 팔로잉 관리와 관련된 모든 데이터 처리는 전적으로 이용자의 로컬 기기 내 브라우저에서 이루어집니다. 팔로워/팔로잉 데이터는 서비스가 관리하는 외부 서버로 전송, 처리 또는 저장되지 않습니다.
6. 데이터 보유
- 로컬 데이터: 확장프로그램을 삭제하거나 브라우저 데이터를 지울 때까지 브라우저에 보유됩니다.
- 결제 데이터: 결제 처리 업체의 데이터 보유 정책에 따라 보유됩니다.
- 서비스 서버: 데이터 저장 서버를 운영하지 않으므로 서버 측 데이터 보유가 없습니다.
7. 이용자의 권리
이용자는 자신의 데이터에 대해 다음과 같은 권리를 가집니다:
- 접근: 로컬에 저장된 모든 데이터는 Chrome 개발자 도구(chrome.storage)를 통해 확인할 수 있습니다.
- 삭제: 확장프로그램을 삭제하면 로컬에 저장된 모든 데이터가 즉시 삭제됩니다. Chrome 설정에서도 확장프로그램 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 이동성: 데이터가 표준 형식으로 로컬에 저장되므로 Chrome 확장 API를 통해 접근할 수 있습니다.
- 구독 관리: 확장프로그램 내에서 또는 결제 처리 업체의 고객 포털을 통해 언제든지 Pro 구독을 해지하거나 라이선스를 비활성화할 수 있습니다.
8. 아동 개인정보
서비스는 만 13세 미만(또는 해당 관할권에서 요구하는 최소 연령 미만) 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
9. 보안
다음과 같은 보안 조치를 시행합니다:
- 사용자 데이터에 대한 외부 서버 통신 없음 (서버 측 침해 위험 제거).
- 모든 민감한 작업은 브라우저의 샌드박스된 확장프로그램 환경에서 로컬로 실행됩니다.
- 라이선스 검증 시 HTTPS 암호화를 사용합니다.
- 확장프로그램은 기능 수행에 필요한 최소한의 브라우저 권한만 요청합니다.
